Abstract
In this paper the water distribution in the mountainous regions of Serbia (at alltitude above 500 meters above see level) are discussed. It is conclused that about 75% per cent of waters of Serbia are formed in the mountainous regions. These waters are of the first class.
They can be used in the lower parts where the needs for them are the greatest.
